Ernie Evans and the Florida Bluegrass BandAre you ready for the third season of the International Bluegrass Music Museum's benefit concert series? We hope you are, because the first performance of the season features none other than Ernie Evans and the Florida State Bluegrass Band!

Many of you may remember Ernie as the outstanding guitarist with Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike. While Ernie was traveling with Valerie, he participated in the IBMM's Bluegrass in the Schools program, and can be heard on the CD Valerie recorded at the Museum.

Ernie Evans and the Florida State Bluegrass Band are currently on an extensive tour of the United States, performing everywhere from Florida to New York. This is yet another opportunity to hear exceptional bluegrass music in Owensboro.

The concert will begin Wednesday, August 17th at 7:00 p.m. with wine and finger foods served at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are only $10 and may be purchased in advance at the Museum's gift shop, or at the door on the night of the performance.

If you like great bluegrass music, you should make a reservation by calling 270-926-7891. Ask for Danny Clark--he will sell you a ticket! But don't wait too long, because seating is limited.

Wednesday evening's music will be broadcast live on Radio Bluegrass International, the Museum's free online radio station. Click here to access RBI!
